The most popular stars were: Charlie Chaplin, Rudolph Valentino, Clara Bow, Buster Keaton, and Douglas Fairbanks.
One very famous silent film was “The Birth of a Nation” (1915).
A favourite serial was “The Perils of Pauline” (1914), starring Peral Wait.
